Be the Match @ Jesuit – On Wednesday, May 8th, our seniors will participate in a special on-campus presentation and training day which begins at 8:45am in the Terry Center. Students will begin the morning learning about the “Be the Match” registry, which aids thousands of women, men, and children with cancer. Mr. Garrison, our principal, and Mrs. Bruce, of our computer science department faculty, will share their personal stories of experiencing the impact of “Be the Match.” Seniors who are currently eighteen years of age will then be given the opportunity to begin the registration process to be a potential donor. This process begins on campus but is required to be completed in a convenient, non-invasive secondary step at home. If your son decides to sign-up, the info packet and sample collection kit will be mailed to your home address. Parents, alumni, and members of the community who are ages 18-44 are also invited to join Be the Match. What an exciting way to change a life forever! For more information about the program and its immense impact on those in need of a life-saving bone marrow transplant, please visit the website for Be the Match: https://join.bethematch.org/jesuitdallas or scan the QR code below.
If you prefer to sign up in person we will have JWA Volunteers available from 10:30-12:00 in the Terry Center foyer.
