A Beautiful Jesuit Dallas Christmas Tradition
How Do I Help?
• Adopt a family in need
JWA and the Jesuit Alumni Association have teamed up again for another year of giving to families in need through Adopt-A-Family, a beautiful Christmas tradition at Jesuit for the past 22 years. With the assistance of eight local non-profit organizations, we have identified 110 deserving families and will be providing gifts to more than 500 members of those families.
In addition to gifts, we also provide gift cards to each family to help with the cost of holiday meals and other needs.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please consider supporting this wonderful tradition by donating to Adopt-A-Family. You can make an online donation here or you can donate cash, checks (payable to Jesuit with Adopt-A-Family on the memo line) or $25 Walmart and Target gift cards. Please leave your donation in the Adopt-A-Family mailbox at Jesuit’s front desk or mail it to Jesuit Adopt-A-Family, 12345 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244. Every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.
If you haven’t already signed up to shop for a family and want to help, please consider donating an item to supplement the gifts that have been purchased for our families. All gifts should be unwrapped and in new, unused condition.
Below are a few gift suggestions:
- Scarves and gloves
- Bath and body sets
- Purses and backpacks
- Men’s shirts (sizes large, XL and XXL)
- Men’s wallets
- Towels and blankets
- Children’s books, stuffed animals, toys, coloring books, crayons and craft sets

We also need the following supplies:
- X-large gift boxes for coats/robes

Gifts and supplies should be labeled “Adopt-A-Family” and dropped off at Jesuit’s front desk no later than December 10. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
