Thomas William Hanlon III '68 Thomas William Hanlon, III, age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 17, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Juanita Stuart Hanlon and Thomas William Hanlon, Jr. He graduated from Jesuit Dallas in 1968 and SMU in 1972. Tom worked in the restaurant industry for over 45 years; 25 years of that was spent employed by Alamo Cafe with his brothers. Tom was known for his extremely hard work, attention to detail and will be remembered by employees for his kind heart and thoughtful nature. His favorite pastime was rooting for his favorite teams, the Spurs, Rangers and Cowboys. He also loved spending time with his family. He especially lit up when his great-niece and great-nephews were around. He was preceded in death by his parents. Tom is survived by his brothers, Michael S. Hanlon and Pat Hanlon (Patrice); nephew, Pat Hanlon, Jr. (Heather); nieces, Whitney Terilli (Peter) and Kasey Vanacek (Andrew); great-niece and nephews, Harper, JP, Hanlon and Walker; and numerous friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICE Rev. Richard Knott will officiate.
