Nancy Ann Dollarhide McLochlin Nancy Ann Dollarhide McLochlin passed away peacefully on December 16th at 10:00 pm, surrounded by her loving husband and her three children. Nancy is fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a loyal, caring and sincere friend. She loved to entertain with a bright smile and welcoming presence. She faced adversity with strength and grace and was the epitome of southern charm, elegance and hospitality. Nancy McLochlin was born August 16, 1947 in Denison, TX. She was the youngest of three children and the only daughter of Martha and Griffin Dollarhide, Jr. Nancy was a 5th-generation Texan, with her great, great grandparents settling in North Texas in 1853. Nancy attended Amarillo High School, where she was a Sandie Stepper, and later graduated from Texas Tech University. Following college, Nancy moved to Dallas, TX and was working at Goldman Sachs when she was introduced to James Patrick ("Pat") McLochlin, her husband of 50 years. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her foremost priority, and she enjoyed supporting and attending the countless activities of her children and grandchildren. She and Pat loved to travel and made countless friends across the globe. She also loved spending time at the family's lake house, playing bridge with friends and exercising. Nancy was always committed to helping those in need, and her generosity was matched only by her boundless energy and dedication. During her 73 years, Nancy belonged to Christ the King Catholic Church, the Christ the King Altar Society, the Dallas Woman's Club, the Junior League of Dallas, The Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, Crystal Charity Ball, Kidney Texas and the Jesuit Women's Auxiliary. Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Bryant Dollarhide and Thomas Wilson Dollarhide. She is survived by her husband, James Patrick McLochlin; her children, Michael Patrick McLochlin and his wife Jennifer, Maureen Elizabeth Bridwell and her husband Tom and John Collin McLochlin; and her four grandchildren Griffin Sears McLochlin, Patrick Henry Gammon McLochlin, Caroline Cash McLochlin and Betty Sterling Bridwell as well as numerous cousins. Nancy's life was honored in a private family service with interment at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family members wish to add our immeasurable thanks to Rev. Ryan Hiaeshutter as well physicians, nurses and staff of Parkland Hospital and Belmont Village.
