Anne Yaeger is the mother of Matthew Yaeger '84. She is the grandmother of Stephen Yaeger '14.

Anne Kathryn Yaeger

Anne Kathryn Maholchic Yaeger, 77, passed away on May 3, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, on July 30, 1940 to Thomas Walter Maholchic and Kathyrn Krantz Maholchic, and was the oldest of six siblings: Carol Maholchic Anders, Thomas J. Maholchic, Michael Maholchic, Peter Maholchic and Mary Maholchic Saliski. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 48 years, Ronald James Yaeger. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Yaeger and son Matthew Yaeger and his wife Suzy. She also leaves five grandchildren: Ellie, Stephen, Julia, Mary Grace and Johnny Yaeger. A graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame High School and St. Agnes Nursing School in Baltimore, Maryland, Anne also earned her B.S. in Nursing from Texas Women's University. After her career in nursing, she sold real estate and later obtained her securities licenses and became a financial planner. She served her clients with honesty and integrity for many years and worked until the time of her death. Beginning at age 17, Anne battled cancer five times in her life with tremendous courage and determination and inspired all who knew her. She had a passion for serving others through her professional work, her family, and her church activities such as the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She had a tremendous heart and was always ready on a moment's notice to drop everything and help anyone in need. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018, at 5:00 p.m., with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Christ the King Church, 8017 Preston Road. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
