Marilyn Nolan is the mother of Daniel Nolan '87 and Patrick Nolan '90. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
Marilyn H. Nolan Our beloved mother Marilyn Helen Nolan of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the age of 85.
Marilyn was born on January 13th, 1936 in New York, NY to Thomas D. Coghlan and Lilian Ryan, the first of two children. She grew up in The Bronx, NY, and attended Fordham University. She later became an Executive Assistant at General Electric in Manhattan, before marrying Roger Stephen Nolan, of Brooklyn New York, on March 2, 1962 and thereafter serving her family as loving wife, mother and homemaker. Marilyn loved classic movies, painting, reading, and traveling.
Marilyn is survived by son, Daniel A. Nolan, grandson Liam D. Nolan, son Patrick T. Nolan and his wife and step-daughter, all of Dallas, TX.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 16th at 1:15 PM at the National Cemetery in Dallas, TX, where she will be interred together with her husband Roger. Given the current COVID-19 capacity restrictions, the service is being reserved as invitation only for immediate family and close friends.
In lieu of sending flowers or gifts, the family is asking that donations be made to the New Hope Learning Center, run by Patrick's wife, which provides quality, loving, and nurturing low cost child care for low income and at risk families for the Lewisville, TX and other surrounding communities.
