Preston was an avid reader, enjoyed running, participating in marathons, hiking, lifting weights, wake surfing, snowboarding, chess, playing videos games, and excelled in all academic endeavors. While at Jesuit, Preston represented his school in both Football and Track. He was a loyal friend and was blessed to have made enduring friendships throughout his life. In his short life, he had the chance to travel and see the world including several trips to Europe, Mexico, Nicaragua, and the Caribbean. He enjoyed countless vacations with his family, long days on the lake with his friends, ski trips, and numerous spring break trips with his closest friends at his grandparents' house in St. Croix. He was also known to be an absent-minded professor, a bad driver and became twitter famous after losing his wallet in Berlin. Preston lived the Jesuit motto of 'Men for Others' and had a true servant heart. His dedication to service continued at TCU as an active member of two service fraternities - Alpha Phi Omega and Phi Kappa Alpha each promoting leadership, friendship, and service. His smile was contagious and could light up a room. His compassion and empathy for others was felt by all who knew him.
