Tom Land is a member of the Jesuit Class of 1963. He is the brother of Jerry Land '59.

John Thomas Land '63

John Thomas Land passed away on 10/1/18 at age 73. Tom, as he was called by loved ones, graduated from Jesuit High School in 1963. A building contractor, he began his career as a journeyman pipefitter with the Dallas Local 100 union, rising through the ranks until his retirement in 2013 as COO of Total Facility Systems, based in Plano, Texas. Musician, historian, animal lover, and proud Texan, he is survived by his beloved wife Penny, sons Stephen and Robert and their mother Janine, brother Gerald, grandchildren Jacob, Macy, Thomas, and Adrien, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Dixie, and stepdaughter Michelle Kolchins, her husband, Randy, and their children Riley and Joey. Visitation at 1 pm and memorial service at 2 pm on Saturday, 10/6/18 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX, 75220. Internment and reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
