STUDENT LIFE

Landing-intro

From a student’s first day on campus, he is encouraged to build and experience brotherhood by engaging in school activities. Our faculty and staff commit to the formation of the whole person. In that spirit, students are invited to enjoy the rich traditions of our school and create unique endeavors. Jesuit student life grows from a foundation of shared Ignatian values – brotherhood, commitment, and integrity. Our counselors are here to assist with any questions regarding our programs.

Extracurricular Activities

Debate

Debate is one of the oldest and most competitive activities at Jesuit Dallas, and the School’s debaters have been nationally recognized almost every decade since the 1940s. In 2023, the Rangers continued a 24-year streak of placing at least one team in the top 20 at the state championships.

Stage & Film

The performing arts have played a vital part in the curricula since we first opened our doors. The Stage & Film program, which produces four major productions each year, includes opportunities for growth in stage acting, directing, theater arts, and technical theater (stagecraft).

Robotics

Jesuit’s nationally competitive robotics program aims to inspire students to seek careers in science and technology and to use robotics as a vehicle in the application of math, science, and programming to practical challenges; to exemplify how knowledge of robotics can be applied in the real world; and to learn a structured approach to problem solving through design, building and testing.

The Roundup

A regular recipient of a First Class rating by the National Scholastic Press Association, Jesuit’s award-winning student paper, The RoundUp, includes students across all grade levels among its team or editors and writers.

Faith is seemingly incorporated into every experience on campus and this reinforcement has had an enormous impact on my faith life. Through my Jesuit experience, my understanding of things has broadened, and my appreciation has deepened.Max Sabogal '25
