Music
The instrumental and vocal music program at Jesuit offers exciting, fun, and challenging musical opportunities including: marching band, concert band, string orchestra, men's chorus, jazz ensemble, wind and percussion ensembles, liturgical music, and community service ensembles. Performing groups are open to all, including students with a desire to learn a new instrument. The band, orchestra, and choir are curricular and receive full credit as a Fine Arts Course (band also recieves P.E. credit). Non-performing courses include Music Appreciation, and Advanced Musicianship. Participation in band, orchestra, and choir is an excellent way to meet students from all grade levels and make lasting friendships with no experience required! If you are interested in one of these ensembles or any other musical opportunity, please contact Mr. Putnam so we can find a place for you.
