Senior Oscar Jarmon has been named Ranger of the Week after being nominated by his peers and members of the faculty. “A great friend and leader,” shared one of his classmates. Oscar’s leadership at Jesuit has been reflected in many ways. A member of Big Brothers, where he has been active in supporting the transition to high school for our freshmen, Oscar spent this past summer assisting with the Higher Achievement Program, an academic enrichment program for middle school students in underserved areas of Dallas.

When not working with younger members of our student community, he can also be spotted on the gridiron where Oscar is a starter on the offensive line and helped to spur the Rangers’ deep state playoff run last season. Said one of his teachers, “Oscar dedicated his summer balancing football and working with the HAP program and continues to be an upbeat presence on campus. To top it all off, he does it all with a smile so large that you can tell from under his mask!”

Oscar was our Ranger of the Week from Nov. 3 - 10, 2020.
