Even though community is one of Jesuit’s most enriching aspects, few students model love through action quite like junior Henry Bryarly. Entering his third year at Jesuit with enthusiasm and vigor, he has excelled academically while taking advantage of all aspects of the formational experience.

Henry is a member of Peer Assistance Leadership program and Key Club at Jesuit and serves the refugee population of Dallas through his work with Interact. He also part of the Jesuit Dallas Tennis program, and proudly represents the School and his fellow students as a Campus Ambassador and Freshman Retreat Leader.

“Henry is eager to learn, and so he attacks his schoolwork like it’s a challenge and a puzzle,” shared a member of the faculty. “He draws others into learning with his energy and is a good teacher, whether he is discussing Rubik’s Cube algorithms or trig identities. Henry achieves at a high level, but what really inspired my nomination is Henry's character. Henry is kind, accepting, positive, and is inspiring to watch.”

Another faculty member and coach added, “Henry is one of the kindest and most caring members of his class. He is strong academically, and never too busy to help others. He competes hard, but more importantly, he is a superior representative of what a Jesuit student-athlete should be. Students are drawn to his charismatic style and empathetic approach to leadership.”
