Challenge Drive

Dear Jesuit Parent,

As our sons’ beloved school celebrates its 80th year of forming men of intellect, faith, and compassion, I write to you on behalf of the many volunteer parents gearing up to help with this year’s Challenge Drive. It is an important effort and contributes toward our mission of helping young men and their families receive a life-changing Jesuit experience.

Jesuit Dallas is a world-class academic environment with a unique sense of brotherhood that graduates carry with them throughout their lives. Men for Others is not just a slogan. It is the culmination of core values that enriches the lives of our sons and our communities. I wish I had lived the experience my boys are enjoying so much, and I am grateful to share in their journey as a parent.

Every year, the Challenge Drive helps suppress increases in tuition while ensuring that Jesuit is able to maintain a best-in-class educational program by bridging the GAP between the actual cost of educating its students and a tuition rate that remains substantially lower than the School’s academic peers.
This year’s GAP for the 2022-23 academic year is $2,520 for each one of our students, and together, we the parents, create opportunities that enhance the student experience through our participation in the Drive.

Your participation in the Challenge Drive is critical and means one of two things: A tax-deductible gift to the School or simply a response. While we would like 100% of our parents to consider a gift at or above this year’s GAP, we understand that this is not always possible. Jesuit is grateful for whatever amount you can contribute within your means. Your gift can also be conveniently spread across multiple payments during the year.

Thank you in advance for responding to the volunteers who will be reaching out over the coming months. Let us continue the tradition of helping Jesuit form Men for Others and continue to support all that Jesuit has to offer our young men.

Sincerely,

Steve French (Hayden '23, Henry '26)
