Art Excursions

Jesuit Dallas Museum members participate in daytime and evening events that explore the culturally rich Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. We attend exhibitions together, visit artists' studios and try our hand at various artistic techniques. Studio visits have included artist Pamela Nelson at the Fairmount Hotel, alumni-artist Chris Lattanzio, photographer, David Ranney, the studio of Carlyn Ray Designs, and others. Gallery visits have included Lloyd & Paxton Gallery, Alan Barnes Fine Art Gallery, alumni artist Bob Stuth-Wade at Valley House Gallery and Sculpture Garden, and Ron Watson’s exhibition at The Madi Museum. At the DMA, members have enjoyed the exhibitions, Mexico 1900-1950 and Jackson Pollock and International Pop Art led by JDM and DMA docent, Val Casillas.

At the Museum of Biblical Arts, Director, Scott Peck, Director led a private tour of the exhibition: Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females :Tapestries and Sculpture by Linda Stein.
