Grandparents

As our grandsons depart Jesuit with a new sense of confidence in their ability to make a difference in the world combined with a clear appreciation of the importance of living a Christian life, we can’t help but marvel at their formation. Jesuit offers its students a truly special experience, emphasizing academic excellence and, more importantly, an ability to think critically about themselves and the world around them.

Now, more than ever, we believe in the value of Catholic education; it strengthens our faith in God and reminds our grandchildren how to live a life in service to others. The fact that most graduates continue to wear their Jesuit Cross necklace long after they depart the campus is a testimony of Jesuit education and how the alumni are formed by this experience. The Cross becomes a proud symbol of each young man’s success as well as their membership into a much greater legacy.

Rising costs in education continue to place an undue burden on many families who have sons with so much to offer to the world. We view our financial commitments to Jesuit as investments toward future generations of servant leaders. It is an investment that keeps on giving back as we see the impact of Jesuit in our family and communities.

Jesuit is a special place. It is much more than a school; it is a family. We hope that you will join us by participating in the More Than Four appeal and that you will help ensure more promising opportunities for future grandsons.

Sincerely,
Nina and Jim Hayden
