More Than Four
More Than Four is Jesuit’s annual appeal for Parents of Graduates, Grandparents and Friends designed to offset annual operating expenses and bolster Jesuit’s endowment. More than Four is a reminder that the value of a Jesuit Dallas education transcends the four years in which a student is enrolled at Jesuit.
In order to maintain a tuition level that is affordable and attractive for all boys, we must continue to receive support from those who have benefitted from the incredible education that is Jesuit Dallas.
"More Than Four is an opportunity to partner together so that all of us can make a difference in the lives of future Jesuit graduates. That future is bigger than just those four years in high school.”
- Rob & Michelle Rickman (Parents of Ford '25)

Message from Our Chairs
Class of 2025 Parents
Dear Friends,

As parents of recent Jesuit graduates, we are undoubtedly excited to watch our sons take on their next adventure in life while continuing their path as Men for Others. And while our sons may no longer be at Jesuit, the indelible impression of their Jesuit experience will never be forgotten.
Like many of his classmates, our son, Ford ’25, was greatly impacted by countless significant experiences and the many relationships he formed with classmates and teachers. Mr. DuRoss was especially meaningful in Ford’s formation as they co-founded the leadership group, Faithful Fellas, and shared together in many service and retreat activities. Jesuit faculty are known for their genuine care in the personal and academic development of our boys, and your son likely had a similar relationship with a faculty member who encouraged his growth.
Ford was able to participate in an exchange program between Jesuit Dallas and the Instituto de Ciencias, a Jesuit school in Guadalajara. While there, he experienced service and academic opportunities and established a remarkable bond with his host family. He met lifelong friends, created lasting relationships, and strengthened his connection with God. It was a remarkable experience, and whether locally or abroad, in the classroom or on the fields, your son likely also had at least one profound encounter that greatly impacted his formation.
As we all know, Jesuit seeks to cultivate a community of servant leaders. When asked to be the class chairs for the More Than Four appeal, which calls on parents of graduates to support the next generation of students by making an annual gift back to Jesuit, we embraced the chance to grow closer with the families of the Class of 2025 to make a difference in the lives of so many young men and the school we love.
More Than Four is an opportunity to partner together so that all of us can make a difference in the lives of future Jesuit graduates. That future is bigger than just those four years in high school. Our sons’ increased confidence, academic readiness, and understanding of how to use their gifts to make a positive difference ensures that they are well prepared for college and the world in front of them. We encourage you to join us with your continued generosity by participating in the More Than Four appeal and supporting the young men that will follow in our sons’ footsteps.
Thank you and warmest regards,
Rob and Michelle Rickman

Parents of Graduates
Dear Friends,

It is often said the four years spent in high school are the most formative of a person’s life. If this is true, we could not be happier that our sons, Jack ’22 and Sam ’24, were fortunate enough to spend that time at Jesuit.
There are so many things that make the Jesuit experience rewarding. Among them are the geographic, demographic, and economic diversity of the student body; the parent involvement; the empathy, patience, and encouragement of the faculty and staff; the spiritual formation; and the academic rigor. Jesuit truly works to develop the whole person—mind, heart, and spirit.
For many families, Jesuit is more than a school – it is a tradition. A Jesuit education shapes a young man’s decision making, his way of life, and his relationships long after graduation. We continue to support Jesuit because we feel there is no better school in Dallas, let alone Texas, when it comes to preparing boys to become men who will make a positive impact on their communities and the world. As we consider the future, we cannot think of a more important place to invest our time and resources.
Our support of the More Than Four appeal builds on that legacy, ensuring that the next generation inherits the same opportunities, values, and community that shaped our sons. Your generosity directly funds the student experience through programs and faculty development, and above all, your gift helps keep Jesuit accessible and ensures that every qualified student is admitted regardless of financial means. Thank you for considering a contribution to the More Than Four appeal.
Go Rangers!

Grandparents
Dear Friends,

Our connection to Jesuit Dallas has stretched over 40 years, beginning with our son, Frank ’88, who started his freshman year in 1984. Since that time, we have witnessed tremendous changes to the physical campus, as facilities like the Terry Center, Dove Fieldhouse, Wright Field, and front-of-school transformation have further enhanced the student experience. Enrollment has also increased significantly over the years, offering the benefits of a Jesuit education to more deserving young men.
One thing that has not changed, however, is the mission of the School to educate and form Men for Others. Jesuit offers a rigorous academic curriculum that prepares students for college and does so in a faith-based learning environment that helps instill a “moral compass” and an awareness that there is more to life than just oneself.
More Than Four signifies that Jesuit’s impact extends well beyond the four years that a student spends in high school. To this day, our sons’ and grandsons’ best friends are fellow Jesuit classmates – a testament to Jesuit’s unique and enduring brotherhood. Through our numerous volunteer efforts with the School Board, Foundation Board, and Celebration Auction, we have also experienced the incredible sense of community that is an irreplaceable part of the Jesuit culture.
In 2002, we established the Frank and Esther Hubach Faculty Enhancement Fund as a means to honor the memory of my parents and to recognize the critical importance of supporting Jesuit’s loving and dedicated faculty, who demonstrate deep care for the young men in our community, and who view their positions more as a vocation than an occupation.
Our giving continues through the More Than Four appeal, which calls on parents of graduates, grandparents, and friends to make an annual gift in support of the young men at Jesuit. We are proud to directly contribute to the student experience and urge others to join us in offering their commitment. By giving today, you ensure that the opportunities your children and grandchildren benefitted from will be available for future generations. Approximately 25% of the student body relies on financial aid and your gifts also enable all young men who are accepted into Jesuit to attend regardless of their family’s financial situation. Please accept our most sincere thanks for your consideration to support the young men of Jesuit and to keep this life-changing experience accessible for all deserving students.
Thank you and warmest regards,
Julie and Frank Hubach

What is the More than Four Appeal?
More Than Four is the parents of graduates, grandparents, and friends portion of our annual giving program and is designed to offset annual operating expenses and bolster Jesuit’s endowment. More Than Four gives our parents of graduates, grandparents and friends the opportunity to continue supporting the next generation of Men for Others.
Why should I give?
Your gifts to More Than Four directly benefit the student experience by creating scholarships and enabling programs and opportunities beyond those covered by tuition alone. Your annual participation reinforces trust in our mission, helps suppress tuition, and can influence major donors, corporations, and foundations when they are considering their own investments.
What does my gift support?
Your gift to More Than Four can be allocated in 3 different ways:
- Annual Operations: Jesuit intentionally seeks to suppress tuition, remaining as much as 33% lower than our peer schools. In helping to keep tuition affordable, we rely on support toward our annual operations to fill the GAP between the cost of educating a student and what we charge as tuition. The GAP for the 2025-26 school year is $2,840.
- General Endowment: Endowment support ensures that all our students in need of financial assistance receive the aid that they need. Currently, 25% of our students are receiving financial aid. Jesuit is uniquely committed to enrolling every qualified student accepted for admission without regard to his family’s financial situation.
- Other Endowment Fund: Donors can contribute to an existing endowment fund created at Jesuit Dallas. Endowment funds can be a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding for students, programs, faculty, and operational needs. If interested in learning more about starting a family endowment fund, visit our endowment page.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
How do I make my pledge or gift?
There are many ways to make your pledge or gift, including the form at the bottom of this webpage, by returning the pledge card you may have received in the mail, or by giving us a call. Gifts can be made in one payment or in monthly installments and by check, credit card and through stock or wire transfer.
If you’re interested in doubling your gift, many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, visit our donor resources webpage or ask your HR department. For those that qualify, consider paying from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
