Marshall Neri has accelerated toward the finish line at Jesuit Dallas, making the most of his remaining few months before graduation through service, leadership, and athletics. Devoting each Wednesday to working with adults and teenagers in a vocational training program at Chance’s Pie Shop, Marshall has also been committed to extra events at Chance’s, in addition to leading several programs at Austin Street Center, MetroCrest Food services, and Catholic Charities Food Pantry.
A nominating faculty member wrote, “Marshall was a phenomenal leader on a recent Senior Kairos retreat, and he volunteered to help lead the upcoming junior Kairos retreat after serving as a freshman retreat leader in the fall. His eagerness to support the formational experience of all Jesuit students is incredible.”
Marshall, who is also a senior Executive Big Brother and plays center and lock for the Rangers’ still-undefeated rugby team, has already received an appointment to West Point and is waiting for acceptance to the U.S. Naval Academy. According to one of his classmates, “Marshall is just one of the absolute best examples of a Jesuit student there is, just a really great guy!”
Congratulations to Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week, Marshall Neri.
