Service is a fundamental aspect of student life at Jesuit, and Nahum Najera is incredibly service-oriented in all of his campus activities. As a member of the Interact Junior Leadership organization, this week’s Ranger of the Week has been a leader through many projects including Texas Ramps, AIDS Services new resident ministry, and Catholic Charities Immigration Services. Additionally, Najera serves as an Ambassador, and is a member of the Jesuit Multicultural Society and PALS.

“Nahum is a leader who wears his heart on his sleeve,” said one of Najera’s classmates. “He cares deeply about including his classmates in service events and encouraging them to move outside of their comfort zone and considering issues of social injustice and inclusion.”

“Adult representatives from our agency partners consistently comment on Nahum’s positive attitude and awesome work ethic,” added a Jesuit faculty member. “The feedback is always outstanding.”
