Samuel Dunkerley, this week’s Ranger of the Week, has built a reputation among his classmates, coaches, and teachers as a servant leader. He is active in student council, an executive ambassador, and a member of the Ignatian Service Corps, which designs and implements service projects. Samuel, who is also a guard in the Rangers’ basketball program, recently constructed new wooden benches for the faculty courtyard.

“Sam selflessly gives his time and energy to all of the various organizations that he is involved in throughout the year,” expressed a nominating faculty member. “During a busy basketball season, Sam is intentional about dedicating his remaining free time to those organizations to make our community a better place. He is always positive and enthusiastic in all of his encounters.”

Another staff member echoed those thoughts. “Sam is always looking to make the community better through the organizations he is involved in and more importantly the attitude he brings every day. Whether it’s volunteering at Equest or helping to conduct admissions interviews over the weekend, he’s always eager to help in any way he can.”
