Another in a long list of do-it-all sophomores, Cooper Tilden has enjoyed a tremendous start to the year. A dedicated member of the yearbook staff and campus ambassador, he balances academic rigor with a demanding athletic schedule, where he excels in both. Tilden also serves on the Jesuit Dallas Grounds Crew and was singled out for his leadership supporting the recent freshman retreat.
“Cooper stepped up with energy,” said a nominating faculty member. “He really helped make the day run smoothly and his efforts were greatly appreciated.” Another staff member said, “Cooper is a great kid. He works extremely hard and sets a terrific model for his classmates.”
Cooper rises to whatever challenge he encounters. A natural leader, and an intellect his ability to understand new concepts and find success in his endeavors really enhances his go-to attitude and friendliness. As a sophomore, Cooper has already moved himself into a leadership role with the Last Roundup yearbook, and he manages to devote his time to not only his studies, and the yearbook, but his athletics as well.
Tilden is also deeply committed to athletics, where he plays defense in the Jesuit Dallas Lacrosse program and as a quarterback for the junior varsity football team, has helped lead the Rangers to consecutive victories over Arlington Martin, JJ Pearce, and Lake Highlands.
Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Cooper Tilden.
