Leader is quickly becoming a one-word identifier for sophomore Logan Thompson, whose efforts across all areas of campus life have endeared him to classmates and the faculty. Said one nomination, “Through the Admissions Ambassador program, Logan is often one of the first impressions visitors have of Jesuit. His warmth, sincerity, kindness, and hospitality make all visitors, both students and adults, feel comfortable and welcome. Logan is a true representative of the best of the Jesuit community.”

Thompson is a driving force for the sophomore leadership and service organization, 24/7, while he also serves in Leadership Huddle, which brings together student leaders to address athletics-specific issues. Athletics has played a key part in Thompson’s continuing formation, as a sprinter for the track & field program and a defensive back in the football program where he has helped pace the JV Gold squad to four shutouts this season.

A faculty member added, “I’ve been super impressed with Logan this year. His presence and participation in the classroom and in service has been consistent and creative. He is always positive, unafraid to engage others, and has a great sense of humor.”

“A young man of few words, Logan is a ‘head down, eyes up’ kind of guy,” said one of his coaches. “He leads by example, and it shows on the field and the classroom. He is an amazing representative of his class and I know many students look to him for his leadership and kindness.”

Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Logan Thompson.
