An exceptional student leader who has modeled what it means to be a Man with and for Others, senior Andrew Jubin was recently accepted into the University of Texas’ prestigious Special Education program. Andrew has augmented a strong performance in the classroom with a deep commitment to community service, specifically in serving younger students at the Notre Dame School of Dallas.

A nominating member of the faculty said, “Andrew has demonstrated remarkable leadership in working with the students at Notre Dame. He is passionate about helping others to reach their full potential.” One of the teachers at the Notre Dame School remarked, “We are so grateful for Andrew’s efforts in our partnership with Jesuit. Andrew truly cares. He is patient, kind, and encouraging.”

Andrew, who is a Big Brother and has served as a Freshman Retreat Leader, committed to aiding migrants, and participated in a leadership capacity through Jesuit's Monterrey, Mexico Casa San Nicolas program. This spring, he is one of the core team leaders for the 2023 Jesuit Special Games.”
