Sophomore Cameron Lewis radiates leadership, and his commitment to his Jesuit brothers has been repeatedly demonstrated, from the many hours committed to making this year’s freshman fall retreat a success to his leading role in the coordination and execution of Jesuit’s Day of Hope.

 

Day of Hope, which focuses on student health and wellness, was largely led by Cameron; not only in running the activities, but also in bringing energy and excitement to the day. As a Grounds Crew member, his contribution to the freshman retreat was completely behind-the-scenes, but his leadership was remarked upon by teachers and peers.

 

“Leadership comes very naturally to Cameron, mainly because his care for others is genuine,” said a member of the faculty. “He has an impact simply by being himself and setting a great example for the people around him.”

 

In addition to his work with Hope Squad and Grounds Crew, Cameron is a member of the Jesuit Multicultural Society, Sophomore Christian Living Community (CLC) Faithful Fellas, and part of the Jesuit Dallas Basketball program, where he is key member on the junior varsity.

 

“Cameron is a wonderful young man who is very involved at Jesuit,” shared another faculty nomination. “He is always willing to help others and his peers look up to him and respect him. He is courteous, responsible, and kind.” One of his coaches added, “Cam is the epitome of a great teammate on and off the court. His positive energy sets the tone for the whole team and his compassion reflects his formation as a Man for Others.”
