According to a member of the Jesuit faculty, "Charlie Humbert models brotherhood, commitment, and integrity.” The senior class vice president and a member of student council, Charlie’s care for his classmates and the Jesuit experience is exemplary. He serves as a Freshman Big Brother, participates in Leadership Huddle, and was a Kairos Retreat leader.
“Charlie leads with a smile and a kind heart,” shared another teacher. “He volunteered his time this summer to welcome our new teachers to Jesuit during their August orientation. He understands Jesuit values go beyond words, as he pilots many efforts to enhance our student programs so others have the opportunity to experience a supportive community. One of the kindest most sincere student leaders with whom I have ever worked.”
Charlie is also a hard worker and dedicated member of the track & field team. He completed a sweep of the hurdle events at last year’s district championships and was UIL area champion in the 100 hurdles. One of his coaches added, “Charlie embraces challenge. He steps up for his team and takes it upon himself to be the best he can as an athlete and a teammate.”
Congratulations to this year’s first Ranger of the Week, senior Charlie Humbert.
