The fall and winter calendar are high points of activity for the admissions office, which is facilitating daily tours and campus visits in support of the next class of Jesuit students. Sophomore Max Sabogal has been instrumental in providing a welcoming presence for new families during this time as an admissions ambassador while demonstrating exceptional leadership during interviews with prospective students.
“Max has served as an ambassador for two years and has been tremendous in making inquiring and new families feel welcome,” said a nominating member of the faculty. “He’s an excellent student in the classroom and a natural leader who leads by example.”
In addition to service work at St. Jude’s, AIDS Services of Dallas, and Soul Church, Max participated in the service immersion experience in Guatemala last summer. When he’s not giving his time to the greater community, Max is a representative on student council, a member of the sophomore Christian leadership group, Faithful Fellows, part of Leadership Huddle in athletics, and a midfielder in the Jesuit Dallas Soccer program.
“Max has a passion for being an agent of hospitality and welcome to those most in need,” offered another member of the faculty. “He is kind, considerate, patient with others, good humored, and exceptionally open to growth.”
Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Max Sabogal ’25.
