Senior Ethan Talatala was recently recognized for his outstanding leadership while representing Jesuit at Project Unity’s Together We Ball, an annual event at the end of August that brings together law enforcement, faith leaders, elected officials, and members of the Dallas community.

“As a member of the senior leadership team for Project Unity’s Jesuit program, Ethan’s efforts helped highlight the themes of solidarity and community in our city,” said a nominating member of the faculty. “He is an exceptionally hard worker in class, has a very positive attitude, and is a tremendous ambassador for Jesuit.”

Ethan, who manages a rigorous academic course load, is a member of the Ignatian Service Corps and the senior site ambassador for Project Unity, as well as St. Philips School and Community Center where he leads 12 of his peers each week.

“Ethan is always looking for ways to be a force for good,” added a counselor. “As a member of the Big Brothers program he embraced his role as a mentor in building important relationships with the newest members of our community. Always with a smile, he is a true Man for Others.

Congratulations to Ethan Talatala ’24, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week.
