Loved by teachers and peers for his unyielding kindness and positivity, Joseph Gasper ’24 is very active in the faith life of Jesuit and has been routinely commended for his commitment to being a Man for Others. As a freshman retreat leader and Executive Big Brother, he has embraced the opportunity to mentor younger students and has become a trusted confidant for many of his classmates.

“Every interaction I have had with Joseph leaves me impressed,” read one nomination. “His humility and commitment to the Catholic faith is inspiring. He makes other students feel comfortable and his ability to positively influence his fellow peers, sometimes in subtle ways, is characteristic of a true leader.” Another faculty nomination added, “Joseph is one of the most faithful young men that I know. He has such a kind and gentle heart, and this shows in his interactions with his brothers.”

Joseph is deeply involved with Jesuit’s campus ministry program and is actively involved in a number of the School’s faith-based activities, including Godly Guys, Living the Fourth, and Rangers for Life. He has also been commended by many of his teachers for his thoughtful insights and positive impact on the classroom atmosphere.

Said a program director and one of his teachers, “Joseph ministers to his peers and is a wonderful example to our younger students demonstrating a balance in service and care for others. He thinks intentionally about the intersections of faith and justice and is the epitome of a Jesuit Ranger.”

Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, senior Joseph Gasper.
