Jesuit’s sophomore leadership club, 24/7, is a student service group that facilitates a number of projects through the year, including Austin Street Center and Fighting Homelessness, two non-profit organizations dedicated to providing support for those seeking safe shelter and permanent housing. Pierce Nikolai ’26 has been at the forefront of Jesuit’s efforts in 24/7 this year, and his leadership and commitment to his Jesuit brothers has been highlighted by numerous classmates, teachers, and agency partners.
“Pierce has never met a stranger,” said a member of the admissions staff. “Families often compliment Pierce on his organically enthusiastic presentations and peer-to-peer interactions, noting his depth of knowledge and openness. Few students bring as much enthusiasm and joy to the classroom as Pierce. He is kind, possesses an excellent growth mindset, and is well-respected by his peers.”
Pierce has served as an admissions ambassador for the last two years, during which he has led campus tours, panel discussions, and interviews with potential candidates for admission. He is also a member of the Jesuit Dallas Hope Squad, track & field program, medical society, and student council.
“Pierce always comes to school with a smile on his face and the most outgoing attitude I have ever seen,” described a fellow Jesuit student. “He is always willing to assist another student and never hesitates to give them words or feelings of encouragement. Pierce consistently embodies the Jesuit values of service, compassion, and leadership, and his genuine kindness, unwavering enthusiasm, and selfless nature truly sets him apart. I am proud to call him my friend.”
Congratulations to sophomore Pierce Nikolai, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week!
