Junior Santi Alvarez delivered a wonderful reflection at a recent School-wide prayer service. His captivating and heartfelt words served as a reminder as to the strength of community and the power of faith.

“Santi is a bright and engaging student,” shared one of his teachers. “As one of the most dependable members of Faithful Fellas, he has responded to the call to deepen his faith and enjoys sharing his faith with other members of the Jesuit community. Santi is a natural leader who exemplifies integrity.”

A member of both the PALS and Interact Junior Service Leadership Organizations, Santi has worked this year with Hope for Honduras, Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas, and The Human Impact, which exists to befriend the homeless, bridge the relational gap, and build long-term community. Last summer, he traveled to Quito, Ecuador, to serve at the Center for Working Families.

Outside of service, Santi is a campus ambassador, part of the Jesuit Dallas Volleyball program, and member of the Spanish Honor Society, Hispanos Unidos, car club, and Chinese club.

“Santi’s travels to Ecuador undoubtedly inspired him to make a difference closer to home in Dallas,” an administrator reflected. “We are grateful for his leadership, which has extended across multiple programs and positively impacted so many members of our Dallas community. He does an excellent job of making everyone around him feel included and is a shining star in our junior class.”

Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Santi Alvarez ’25.
