An accomplished guitarist and singer who can often be heard at one of Jesuit’s open mic events, Andrew Koshakji ’25 shared his musical talents in a powerful, spiritual all-class reflection at last fall's Senior Community Days, and most recently offered a beautiful reflection during an on-campus prayer service. Andrew is a leader in the senior class and has been recognized for a deep commitment to his faith and fellow students.
“For the last three years, Andrew has been a leader in Faithful Fellas and has given so much of his time participating in prayer services and retreats,” a faculty member offered. “His willingness to be vulnerable is a testament to his spiritual and emotional maturity.” Another nomination suggested, “I would imagine Andrew makes any class he is in better. He is conscientious, hardworking, and curious. He is also continuously supportive of his peers and goes out of his way to encourage them.”
Andrew is currently participating with Kinetic Kids for his service intensive where he provides sports skill practices for children with different levels of developmental abilities. He is also a member of the Jesuit Musicians Union, Catholic Athletes for Christ, and a midfielder for Jesuit Dallas Soccer.
“Andrew is a one of the hardest workers I’ve seen in my time at Jesuit and is a joy to coach,” said a member of the soccer coaching staff. “He creates healthy routines and adheres to them with a mechanical rigor. He is also personable, dependable, honest, faithful, and open to the mission of Jesuit. Andrew is a true asset to our community.”
Congratulations to Andrew Koshakji ’25, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week!
