A brilliant singer and hard-working student, junior Gabriel Miller followed his recent selection to the Texas Private School Music Educators Association All-Region and All-State teams by participating in a special honors recital on Monday at Ursuline Academy. Lending his talents to campus ministry, stage productions, and in his service outreach, Gabe has been commended for his outstanding abilities and for his commitment to the student experience.
“Generous in spirit and joy, Gabriel is such a positive presence in class,” one faculty member described. Another teacher added, “He actively participates in class discussions and strives to always do his best with coursework. He is good natured and enjoys conversations with both his peers and teachers. He is inquisitive and loves to ask questions that move the discussion in interesting ways.”
Described through nominations as personable, dedicated, artistic, caring, competitive, and kind, Gabriel performed in Ursuline’s production of Beauty of the Beast and took on three roles in the stage production of Matilda. He was recently selected to be part of Jesuit’s Junior Leadership Council that will help organize and run the junior retreat and has completed service projects with To Be Like Me, St. Philip's School and Community Center, Rays of Light Dallas, Chance’s Café, and United Rocks.
“Gabe is an amazing kid,” another nomination proclaimed. “Aside from his talents leading as a cantor at Mass and all of the other ways in which he shares his angelic voice with the community, he is a hardworking and wonderful student who is often seen being helpful toward peers and encouraging to underclassmen. Through all of his success, Gabriel remains truly humble and an inspiring example of Ignatian generosity.”
Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Gabriel Miller ’26!
