Described as a connector and someone who strives for excellence in all endeavors, senior Henry Bourret played a crucial role in the success of Ranger Day and Homecoming, while his leadership at Community Days set the tone for this year’s senior class.

“A strong voice on the Jesuit student council, Henry had a desire to reimagine what the Ranger Day pep rally looked like and worked countless hours creating, editing, and re-writing the run-of-show for that morning, always considering what would be the best for the entire student body,” said a member of the counseling team. “I think the strongest thing to say about Henry is that Jesuit is going to miss his leadership and loving personality when he graduates.”

Henry currently serves as one of the senior leaders at Bonton Farms, where he spends every Wednesday morning throughout the school year working alongside his peers to support families in need who live in at risk communities. An excellent student who is active in several student faith groups, Henry was a starting running back for Jesuit Dallas Football this past season and is a valuable member of the Jesuit Ranger Sports Network, where he has been noted for his mentorship of the club’s younger broadcasters. Later this year, he will serve as a Kairos retreat leader.

“Henry is able to balance so many responsibilities with a level of poise and grace beyond his years,” another nomination exclaimed. His leadership spans so much of this campus. I see him leaving it all on the football field each Friday, and then I get to be thoroughly entertained by his color commentary for basketball, and then touched by his willingness to be the rector for an upcoming Kairos retreat. Henry has so much heart and so much compassion and we are lucky to have him as core member of the senior leadership.”

Congratulations to Henry Bourret ’25, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week!
