Kevin Nazareth ’26 is one of Jesuit’s most engaging students and is known throughout the School community for his upbeat personality, kindness, and infectious positive spirit. A renaissance man with a myriad of interests, Kevin’s voice is often one of the first we hear at Jesuit each morning, as he leads the School in prayer.
“Kevin is all energy!” exclaimed a member of the counseling staff. “His optimism, kindness, and love-of-life are contagious, and prospective families who encounter him are thrilled by the joy he brings to his tours and conversations as an admissions ambassador.” Another nomination explained, “He is the backbone of many student organizations and always seems to find small, yet impactful ways to help. I don't think I've come across a student at Jesuit who better embodies the virtues of joy and kindness.”
In addition to regularly leading students and staff through morning prayer and The Examen, Kevin is a staff writer for The Roundup, member of the varsity cross country team, participant in the anime club, art club, chess club, Chinese club, and Quiz Bowl, and a key member of the Jesuit Stage & Film program, where he has appeared in Jesuit’s productions of A Few Good Men, Is He Dead?, and Clue. As a member of Hope Squad,
Kevin served as the keynote speaker at a student assembly. Last fall, he participated in the Waco poverty immersion and simulation, a challenging experience that invites students to grow in empathy with those who are experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty.
“Kevin is a true leader. He is consistently kind, generous, and patient with others, and he openly shares his joy, passion and enthusiasm, whether in the classroom, at practice, or at open mic. I cannot think of a student who is better at coaching his classmates and boosting their confidence.”
Congratulations to junior Kevin Nazareth, Ranger of the Week!
