Applauded for being a constant loving presence, senior Levy Mendoza ’25 balances outstanding academics and a commitment to service while modeling excellent Christian values. Prior to the Easter break, Levy’s impact was on display in several ways as he led his class brothers through a Senior Kairos retreat and was pivotal in the success of the Rangers for Life diaper drive.

“Levy has been a consistent member of Ranger for Life since the beginning of the program and I cannot think of another student who better embodies leadership through action,” a member of the staff raved. “He has attended many events on behalf of Rangers for Life, including the Bishop’s Pro-Life Dinner and the March for Life in Dallas and Washington, D.C. He was also the keynote speaker at the Rangers for Life prayer service. Levy is a strong Catholic, a good listener, and amazingly reliable.”

The current recipient of the Beverly and John M. Dietschy, Sr. Family Science Award, Levy is also a National Merit Commended Scholar and an AP Scholar. A member of Jesuit Dallas Debate, Levy is completing his senior service intensive as a docent with the Museum of Biblical Art where he is also part of the Jesuit landscape team that maintains the Museum’s outdoor garden. He also serves weekly at Touchmark Memory Care and will be participating in the Jewish faith’s Day of Remembrance – Reading of the Names.

“Levy has truly taught me a lot about how to be a positive leader,” shared a classmate, while a faculty member said, “Levy is a brilliant and hardworking student, and an excellent debater. He is constantly looking for ways to lead and he is encouraging and uplifting to all.”

Congratulations to Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week, Levy Mendoza ’25.
