Celebrated as a “go-to ambassador” who steps into any situation with ease, junior Tanner Krug ’26 stands out for his unwavering positivity, encouragement, and leadership. A devoted member of Catholic Athletes for Christ, he serves as the captain of the monthly Parent Coffee student panels and has spent a lot of time this year leading family tours and interviewing prospective students.

“Tanner truly embodies what it means to be a Man for Others and applies that to his everyday life,” one of his classmates described. “His dedication to his peers and commitment to the school is impressive, and you can see his desire to always bring joy to our community.”

A two-sport athlete who served on the defensive line this past season for Jesuit Dallas Football and is currently a key cog on the Rugby team, Tanner scored a clutch try in the Rangers’ Senior Night victory over Celina last week. His coaches have routinely praised Tanner for his work ethic and willingness to push his teammates to strive for their best. A freshman and Junior Kairos retreat leader, Tanner also worked this past fall with Kinetic Kids, where he earned accolades for his efforts with the participants in the special education program.

“Tanner’s dedication to his faith shines through in his actions, offering love and encouragement to everyone he meets,” a faculty member detailed. “With a heart full of sincerity, his kindness leaves a lasting impression on the Jesuit community.”

Congratulations to Tanner Krug ’26, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week!
