A positive presence in the senior commons where he is often found offering assistance to a classmate, Trenton Giles ’25 has emerged as a leader on campus and has been repeatedly commended for demonstrating true care for his Jesuit brothers and a dedicated commitment to service. At the School’s most recent prayer service, Trenton gave a powerful and heartfelt reflection that left many faculty and staff feeling proud.

“Trenton is an amazing young man,” one of his teachers shared. “He works hard to be the best that he can, excels in the classroom, and has earned the full trust of teammates, classmates, and the faculty.”

Trenton, who served as a student rector during Kairos, is a dedicated member of Faithful Fellas and Living the Fourth and is also a key member of the Jesuit Dallas Baseball program and a Big Brother. He currently commits time each week at North Texas Food Bank and is working with Kinetic Kids in his senior service intensive this winter teaching in a swim program for children with different developmental abilities. Previously, Trenton has served in PALS, Brothers for Others, Meals on Wheels, and the Arthur Kramer Elementary School.

“Trenton has a strong moral compass and is fiercely loyal to his friends and family,” a nomination described. One of his coaches offered even more, saying, “Trenton exhibits great qualities on and off the field. His self-motivation, thoughtfulness, communication, and work ethic all make him not only a great athlete but an even better teammate. Trenton leads by example, and his dedication to academics, athletics, and his classmates is an inspiration for our younger students.”

Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, senior Trenton Giles ’25.
