Junior Nathan Chukwumah was recently recommended to serve on the 2025-26 Congressional Youth Advisory Summit, an exclusive leadership opportunity working alongside federal representatives in the 24th Congressional District of Texas on discussions regarding public policy while serving the community. Nathan, who also serves as an admissions ambassador and was a freshman retreat leader, has been commended by multiple administrators for his warmth, humor, and insight.
“From the very beginning of school, he has stood out in my class,” shared one of Nathan’s AP teachers. “He caught my attention with his active participation and preparation for class each day. Nathan is on the leading edge of many class discussions and has the ability to think clearly on complex issues. He’s also a remarkable young man of integrity, class, and high morals.”
Nathan was one of four students to be selected to serve on the inaugural Special Education Leadership Team at Jesuit. Following several years of experience with Jesuit’s special education agency partners, Nathan and his fellow students will spend a year of service focusing on access and justice for and with those with differences and special needs. A member of the Jesuit Dallas Medical Society, Nathan is also in the Mu Alpha Theta national honor society and the Spanish Honor Society.
“Nathan is always willing to try new things and experiment with different media as an AP art student,” a faculty member said. “He is friendly, outgoing, and always gives his best. It’s been wonderful having him in class and sets a fantastic example for his peers.”
Congratulations to Ranger of the Week, Nathan Chukwumah ’27!
