As a campus ambassador, sophomore Sebastian Khalil ’28 is often the first to greet our visitors on campus, and always with an infectious smile and upbeat demeanor. Guests have complimented Sebastian and the School on numerous occasions for his enthusiasm and genuine care for the Jesuit community.
“Humble, reflective, and balanced, Sebastian is making tremendous strides as a Jesuit student,” a nomination described. “He continually challenges himself in school and extracurricular activities and is always looking for ways to make himself and those around him better.”
A Grounds Crew team member who led preparation efforts for the freshman retreat, Sebastian is a member of the Jesuit Dallas Basketball program, the Real Estate Club, and the Entrepreneurship Club, where he is the director of meeting preparation. He is also working with United Rocks this year, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the sport of rock climbing.
“Sebastian is a conscientious, hardworking, and diligent student who goes above and beyond in his academics,” another nomination read. “He has a strong level of empathy and uses it to make our community better. He is developing into a strong leader and is a model example for his peers.”
Congratulations to Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week, Sebastian Khalil ’28!
