Demonstrating a supreme willingness to learn and embrace new challenges, senior Wills Blosser has grown to become one of Jesuit’s most trusted and talented leaders. In addition to his responsibilities as an Executive Big Brother, Wills is serving out his senior year as president of the Jesuit Ursuline Ranger Band, vice president of Jesuit Dallas Stage & Film, and captain of Jesuit Dallas Diving.
“Wills is truly inspiring,” one of his classmates declared. “He is caring, deeply involved in uplifting other students, and has made me a better musician and a better person.” A program director added, “Wills joined us as a freshman with no prior instrumental experience. Through remarkable hard work and dedication, he progressed so quickly that by his junior year he earned a place in the Texas Private School All-State Band on euphonium. Respected by his peers, he also now serves as the band’s brass captain, low brass section leader, uniform lieutenant, and equipment lieutenant.”
Wills also joined the diving program with no previous experience, and through passion and a tireless work ethic, was elected team captain prior to the new year. As a member of the Jesuit Music Outreach program, schools, nursing homes, and special education partners have all commented on Wills’ creativity and the way that he uses music to create community and connection. He is also a leader of quiz bowl, wrote and directed his own one-act stage performance, and is a member of the service team at St. Joseph’s Residence Mass and Fellowship.
“Wills rocks,” another faculty member exclaimed. “He combines impressive interpersonal and organizational skills with a deep sense of honor and propriety and always wants to transform things for the better. He doesn’t shy away from the challenges and disappointments inherent to leadership roles, and he doesn't mind looking at the smallest details with a critical eye. He is a welcoming and supportive presence, and someone who elevates the talents and efforts of everyone around him.”
Congratulations to senior Wills Blosser ’26, Jesuit Dallas Ranger of the Week!
