Opportunities to grow in one’s faith as a community also exist on the playing field as well. Every varsity sport on campus has a faculty chaplain and one or more student chaplains that help make prayer and reflection and integral part of the athletic experience. Even our coaches engage in a couple days of reflection throughout the year to strengthen their own spirituality and their understanding of how God is in all the varied experiences of athletics.
Students who wish to strengthen their relationship with God in a small group experience are invited to consider taking part in a Christian Life Community or CLC. These groups of 6-8 students along with 1-2 faculty members meet periodically during lunch to share their highs and lows of the high school experience and develop their individual relationship with God.
Campus Ministry also partners with Community Service to encourage students to live out their faith through direct opportunities to honor the sacredness and dignity of the human person.
